LSU Star Angel Reese Stunned in These 7 SI Swim Photos From Los Angeles

Angel Reese is a woman of many talents, from star performances on the basketball court to powerful poses by the pool. In the same year that she helped lead the LSU women’s basketball team to its first national championship, the Tiger made her way to Los Angeles with photographer Yu Tsai for her 2023 SI Swimsuit Issue debut.

On set, the 21-year-old looked natural before the camera as she talked about confidence and being herself. “I am unapologetically Angel,” she told SI Swimsuit. “I am a queen. I am confident. I am strong. I am who I am.”

Her self-assurance certainly shined through in the series of photos, which featured the NCAA tournament’s Most Outstanding Player in colorful string bikinis and flattering one-pieces.

For the college athlete, dominating at basketball and rocking her SI Swim photoshoot were not mutually exclusive. “Be who you are,” she encouraged. “I embrace my body and who I am, and on the court I can still ball.”

The strong sense of confidence likewise extends to her appearance. Reese was comfortable with posing in swimsuits for the photos. “I’m 6'3". I workout a lot, so why not show it?” she said.
